Hello!

While newborns may not be able to sit directly in the Si seat because of the recline, the stroller is travel system compatible, so a newborn could use their car seat attached to the Si seat. We would recommend a child be at least 6 months of age, before they can sit in just the stroller.

Hope this helps!

Hi, I have been looking around for the perfect stroller for my newborn arriving this May. I really like SI for its lightweight and easy maneuver but i have actually heard that SI is not suitable for newborns because the seat does not recline fully. Is that true? If yes, from which month onwards would SI be suitable for babies?

Hello Libbie,

We are sorry the manual made the car seat installation more confusing. It is not necessary to remove the seat upholstery, however we found that the installation of the car seat is a little smoother when you extend the front bumper bar (do not remove) or remove the Si hood. Please try one of these tips, if this does not help please let me know, and I would be happy to assist you further.

Thank you,

Isabel

Hi,
I just recently received the Peg Perego Viaggio 30/30 and the Si stroller for my baby due in January. I am having a little difficulty putting the carseat in the stroller. I know the stroller seat has to be tilted back which I have done. Am I supposed to keep the front bar on or off when I set the car seat in the stroller? Also, I know you can remove the seat cover, would this make sense to remove this while I am only using the stroller as a travel system for the car seat (when she is a newborn)? So then the the carseat may sit better in the stroller?

Any advice would be great for putting the carseat in the stroller - I found the pictures in the manual very confusing. Thanks!

Hello Vn,

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture a toddler seat for the Si stroller. We do offer other alternatives for multiple children, such as the Aria Twin 60/40, Duette SW or Skate System with Jumper Seat. Here is a link to the Multiples section of our website, so you can decide what would be right for you: http://us.pegperego.com/babyproducts-catalog/For+Multiples. Here is a link to the Skate System: us.pegperego.com/babyproducts-catalog/2012/Skate+System.

Thanks again,

Erica
