   Be aware of peg perego’s claims about stroller weight! They seem to grossly understate the weight of their strollers. For example, I own a peg perego si, which weights 17.5 LB on my scale, yet peg perego states that it weights 13.2 LB. Another example, the Vela weights 15 LB on my scale, yet peg perego states it weights 10 LB. The piliko mini seems to be very similar to the si excpet the absence of bumper bar and presence of 8 wheels(as opposed to 4 wheels on Si) I would imagine that the piliko mini will be similar to si in weight. I am excited about the upcoming piliko mini, but I really wish it will be 12 LBs. I like that peg perego strollers stand alone after folding — a huge plus for travel and not to worry about dirty ground.

   The Pliko Mini is strictly a toddler stroller and isn’t car seat compatible.

   Will the Pliko P3 be available in Aloe? I love it and have been holding out on buying a stroller until the new line comes out!

   Shannon,

   The Aloe is a fabric that will be available on the Pliko Mini only. All of the Mini’s fabrics are like that. My new blog post about the 2011 Fabric Collection shows all of the different fabric options. The P3 will be available in most of these.

   when will the pliko mini be availablee in stores ? and can you put an infant like a 2month old baby ? im in LOVE with this stroller!

   Thanks for your interest in the Mini! The last I heard, the Mini was slated to release in January. However, please check the blog in early December, as I’ll be posting a release timeline with the most up-to-date release times.

   The Mini is a toddler stroller, and it doesn’t accept a car seat. Because of this, we recommend that you use it when baby is around 6 months (or old/strong enough to sit comfortably in a seat that does not recline all the way).

    Hi, I’ve seen this model here in Italy but it doesn’t have height adjustable handles. So perhaps there are 2 versions of this, e.g. a local version and an export version?
    I really want to get the Mini Pliki: it’s really light, can stand upright and has a carry handle. However, most stores here do not stock the footmuff. Any ideas where I can order it online? Ciao!

    Absolutely! Here in the USA, the Mini can hold up to 45 pounds, which would be about 20.5kg. This could vary from country to country, so keep that in mind.

    Yes, Italy may have it’s own version. I’m not sure about all the features on the Italian model, but here in the US the Mini will have adjustable handles.You may want to call Peg Perego Italy to find out about what they’ll be offering over there. They will also be able to point you toward some good European retailers (I only know of USA retailers).

    Thanks Amanda, I have contacted Peg Perego Italy, they told me that as the footmuff is new, there are very few stores stocking it. It can be ordered. Anyway, this weekend we went and purchased the Iron version in Verona. It didn’t have adjustable handles but we’ll just have to live with that. They can also order the footmuff but said it will take 5-6 weeks! We are going away in 3 weeks, that’s why I thought it might be quicker to order it from the States. Thanks anyway, ciao!

    Sorry about the footmuff isssue … You’re more than welcome to contact our Customer Service department. I’m not sure if they’ll sell you the boot, since you’re overseas, but you can certainly try. Additionally, I don’t think we’ll have it in stock until January.

    Hi, I am confused about the age requirement. In some store websites (eg. Japan) and in the english brochure from the official website it says it is safe for 1month but in others it says safe for 6 months and up. Can you clarify please?

    The messaging might be different due to varying safety regulations. You see, Japan’s safety regulations are not the same as the US’s.
    What I do know is that the recline on the Mini is not a full recline. Because of this, you should not use it with baby until he/she has developed strong neck muscles. This is generally around 4-6 months of age.

    Fernanda,
    All colors will be shipping out January 5, except for Iron, which will ship January 10. So, you may have to wait a few days before you’ll be able to see them in-store.
    Please use our Store Locator to find retailers in your area. Then, then best thing to do would be to call the retailers and ask them if they plan on stocking the Pliko Mini.

    hi! i currently have the pliko p3 and love it! but am looking for a smaller more compact stroller for travel… i love how the pliko NEVER tips when bags or the diaper bag is hanging from it. Is the mini the same way?????? thanks so much. Noelle

    The Mini wouldn’t be the best choice if you’re going to be putting bags on the handles. I’d go with the Si. It’s smaller and lighter than the P3, but it can still work with the P3′s Travel Bag accessory.

    i’m almost sold with this product..but i have a few question
    can you please let me know if the 13lb weight on the stroller is included the wheel?
    and when it is reclining to the 3rd position,will i be able to change diaper on it?

    Thanks for your interest in the Mini!

    The 13 lb. weight includes everything except the canopy (I think), which weighs an extra 1/2 pound or so. I wouldn’t recommend this stroller for diaper changes, though. It’s pretty compact and though it’s comfortable for baby, an in-seat diaper change may not be. But you could always check it out in store and see for yourself!     Hi there,
    Could you tell me if the new Pliko Mini will fit in the trunk/boot of a Mini Cooper? It is advertised as being able to fit in any car trunk/boot but I need to be absolutely sure as we will be driving a Mini when abroad.

    Thanks for your question. The Pliko Mini is our smallest (and lightest) stroller. The exact measurements of the Mini when folded are 13″ x 37 1/2″. I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

    More specifically, would this one work for the mini? (in the description it doesn’t have the mini listed) Also, is the rain cover very new and not available in stores? (judging from the site below it says shipping in 3-6 weeks)

    Yes, our Rain Cover will also fit the Pliko Mini. It is not a brand new product, so I’m not sure why this retailer is quoting three to six weeks for shipment. You could try another retailer.     I’m very interested in the Pliko Mini – we currently have a City Mini (Baby Jogger) and enjoy the large canopy, but cannot get over how slouchy the seat is. Do you happen to know what kind of support is in the back of the Mini’s seat and what angle it sits at when fully upright? I’m having a very hard time locating one in Washington (state) – as many of the places that carry Peg Perego do not carry this in store.

    Thanks for your interest in the Pliko Mini. The Mini has three recline positions that “lock” into place. To see them “in action”, please check out this video. I think it will give you a good sense of the recline, and all the other Mini features.

    i just bought a pliko mini and lost the adult cup..do you sell replacements for the adult cups for the pliko mini? or can we use/buy the replacement cups of any other model?
