2011 Uno
A true luxury stroller, the Uno is the answer for many parents looking for a straightforward, full-featured answer to the many stroller systems available on the market today.
Here are five reasons we love the Uno:
1. Large rear wheels help the Uno navigate snowy climates and rough terrain.
2. An easy stroller-to-carriage conversion follows baby from infancy to toddlerhood without requiring extra components or accessories.
3. The reversible handlebar transitions the stroller from forward- to rear-facing in seconds.
4. The included leg cover gives the carriage a sleek look and protects baby in the winter.
5. Ganciomatic hooks pop out from beneath the seat cushion, quickly turning the Uno into a Travel System (Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seat sold separately).
The Uno is recommended for the Northern Parent, the Rural Parent, and Beach Babies.
Features
- Reversible handlebar has variable height adjustments and a detachable cup holder.
- Our Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seat (sold separately) attaches easily to retractable hooks.
- Smooth Zero Radius Turning in rear-facing mode for effortless turning in tight spaces.
- Large, handy storage basket.
- Hood converts to a sun canopy with two-way zipper.
- Includes a detachable zippered leg cover.
- Tray with drink holder attaches easily to front bar.
- Large, handy storage basket.
- Approved for use with newborns.

I am thinking about buy a 2011 Uno, but can’t find a shop to see a real one except on internet. Also confused about why not many people using it. Is there anybody who could tell me about Uno? Or Piliko p3 will be a better choice?
Ruiwen,
Have you used our Store Locator?
The Uno isn’t a widely-carried produt, so it can be difficult to track down. But I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have!
Essentially, the Uno is a great luxury ride, while the Pliko P3 is a more compact option.
Let me know if you have questions!

Are there any other car seats which are compatible with Uno 2011 stroller? I love the stroller itself, but not the car seat, so i was wondering if there are any other strollers which would be compatible with it?
I’m sorry i made a typo in my previous post. I’m looking for any other car seats which would work with the 2011 Uno strollers?
PeDro,
Thanks for your question!
Because we don’t test our strollers with car seats other than the Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30, I can’t say whether there is another car seat out there that will work with the Uno. The best thing to do would be to try to find the Uno in-store and then pair it with various car seats to see if it works. Sorry I can’t be of more help than this, but if you have additional questions, let me know!

Hi Amanda,
Nice work with the blog posts. They are really helpful.
Help me out here:
I have doubts between the UNO and the SWITCH COMPACT strollers.
It will be for my newborn son.
What are the main differences? Any recommendation?
I like the Uno’s stroller-to-carriage functionality, but the Switch Compact seems to be more lightweight and compact .
I also want to buy the Primo Viaggio to use in my car. I know that both Uno and Switch Compact can support it but do I have to take out theirs seats and Primo Viaggio fits directly on the chassis? Or it will fit on top of the chair?
Any advise will be greatly appreciated!
Filipe,
Sure, I’m glad to help!
There are a few differences between these strollers …
1) The Uno is a luxury stroller with a traditional book fold and single handlebar, whereas the Pliko Switch is like a souped-up compact stroller with an umbrella-like fold and two handles.
2) Both are reversible strollers, but the Uno reverses by flipping the handlebar forward and backward. The Switch reverses by removing the stroller seat and switching it around.
3) The Uno has larger back wheels that give it a smoother ride, but at the same time, the wheels take a while to get used to when in rear-facing mode (since the large, fixed wheels are in the front)
4) The Uno accepts the Primo Viaggio car seat into it’s stroller seat. The Switch accepts the Primo Viaggio directly on to its chassis.
These are the main differences, Filipe. Let me know if you have additional questions!

What’s the difference between the 2011 and 2010 models of the Uno stroller? They look the same but the marketing descriptions are slightly different on the web site, but I can’t tell if there are any real differences. Any help would be appreciated.
I was looking at the UNO strollers at babiesrus.com but could not tell which year model it is. When I called Babies R Us to inquire, they did not know which model year they were selling. Any way to figure it out? Manufacture code?
Thanks!!
Karen,
Thanks for your interest in the Uno!
The Uno did not change from 2010 to 2011 apart from the fabrics and the addition of a small loop on the canopy that allows you to dangle a light toy.
Oftentimes, the easiest way to tell the year a product was made is to go by fabrics. In 2010, the Uno came in Sophia, Tropical, Gala and Java. In 2011, we’re offering it in Pois Grey and Java (a carryover from 2010). If you’re considering the Java color, you can check the MFG date to see when it was made.
Let me know if you need additional assistance!

Are there major differences between the UNO 2009 and the UNO 2011 model?
Hi Selene:
Thanks for you interest in the Uno! It’s such a great stroller, especially with its reversible handle! As for your question, there are a few differences between the 2009 and 2011 models that are worth noting. The biggest is probably the change in harness type. The 2009 Uno had the freedom of movement harness, while the 2011 Uno has a traditional 5-point safety harness. Another difference is that the 2011 Uno has a small loop on the canopy from which you can dangle baby’s favorite light toy. One more difference is the available fabric colors, which change every year. The 2009 Uno was available in three colors – Blacktie, Corallo, and Moka. This year, the Uno is available in two colors – Java and Pois Grey. I hope this helps you make a decision. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, I was wondering…Are there any major differences between the Uno Pure Vapor version and the 2011 models? I know the harness is 5 point now without freedom of movement, the toy loop, and the fabrics. My main concerns are wheels, canopy, and basket.
Hi Jessica!
I got the information you were looking for on the Uno Pure Vapor and the 2011 Uno. Pure Vapor is a 2007 model, and the only real difference from the 2011 Uno is the handle (which now has a foam grip vs. a plastic handle). The tray is slightly different, but it still offers the same two cup-holder slots. The wheels and basket are the same. Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any more questions!
-Amanda
I am interested in purchasing the Uno, but I want to know if Peg Perego will ever offer some type of parent accessory to hold keys, phone, etc. at hand’s reach. I know several companies offer a separate purchase add-on to accommodate this request.
Thank you in advance.
Sorry, after reading some reviews of the stroller, I also want to know the weight limit of the stroller. I can’t seem to locate that information, but it seems that this stroller may only be suited to infants up to around a year. If that is the case, is there another stroller that would be suited for a two year old around 35 lbs. We’re looking for a stroller that would meet our needs for at least two more years.
Thank you.
Hi Nicole:
Our Uno, like all of our strollers, has been tested to accommodate a child up to 45 pounds. So don’t worry, you could use it for years and years to come. Let us know if you have any more questions.
-Emily
Hi Nicole:
Thanks so much for your question. Have you looked at our Borsa Mamma diaper bag? It has hook attachments that allow you to attach it right to the handlebar, keeping everything you – and baby – need in a very convenient spot. Check out this video to see what I mean:
Mom-to-mom, I have found the Borsa Mamma to be really convenient. I just blogged about it last week. Check out my post when you get a chance, “Bag Check: A Look Inside Our Borsa Mamma Diaper Bag.” Do let me know if you have any questions about the Borsa Mamma. I think it’s a great solution for what you’re looking for.

Hello,
I purchased the UNO that was advertised as being the 2011 model. I read on an earlier post that the 2011 has a small loop hanging from the canopy that can be used to dangle a small toy. Since the stroller I have doesn’t have this does it mean that I have a 2010 model? Also the company where I purchased the stroller told me they contacted Peg Perego and were informed that the 2010 and 2011 UNO models are identical. Is that correct? From some of the pictures I’ve seen it looks like the bumper bars are slightly different on the 2010 and 2011 models. Also you said if you want to know what model you have you can look to see when your stroller was manufactured. If a stroller was manufactured in 2010 does that mean it is a 2010 model or a 2011 model? Sorry for asking so many questions! Thanks in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Rebecca
Hi Rebecca,
The 2011 Uno should have the hood loop. The easiest way (I think) to tell what year you have is to go by fabric color. Which color do you have?
-Emily
My stroller is the Java color.
Hi Rebecca.
Java was the one color that was carried over from 2010 to 2011. I double checked for you, and besides the small loop on the canopy, there were no other updates from 2010 to 2011 on the Uno, so the retailer is right is saying they are otherwise identical. Here’s what that loop looks like (it’s just the small loop; the toy itself and its orange connector is not included):
If you’re still concerned, you are welcome to call Customer Service who can use your serial number to determine which model year you have. You can find the serial number under the Uno footrest. And you can reach customer service at 800-671-1701. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with. I hope you love your Uno. It’s a great stroller. I love that reversible handlebar!
-Emily
Hello, I am very interested in the 2012 UNO model. What colors will the 2012 model come in? I love the Sophia color, but do not want to buy a 2010 model even though I like the Sophia color the best since my baby is due to arrive in 2012. When do the 2012 models arrive for purchase? Most stores in my area do not seem to carry the UNO in stores, only select choices online. I am hoping for pretty colors beyond gray and brown for 2012!
Thank you,
Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for your interest in the Uno. We are going to offer the Uno in a few new colors for 2012. Here in the U.S., it will be available in Boheme (classic navy/red sheen with small squares) and Newmoon (taupe/black). Most of our 2012 collection (excluding the Book stroller) will start arriving in stores in January. If you don’t have a retailer near you that carries the Uno in stock, check out our authorized online retailers here.

Hi,
We have a 2007 UNO stroller that was given to us. Will a 2011 Primo Viaggio SIP infant seat fit the stroller?
Regards,
Kevin
I Love the Uno stroller. However, I don’t think I will purchase it since it only works with carseat sold with by your company. You mentioned in an earlier post that some other carseats may fit, but customers would have to buy the strollers and buy other carseats (who knows how many) to try and see if the stroller will work with other carseats. I would suggest your company do this research and make it available for customers who would buy this stroller but not the carseat. Otherwise, you have jsut lost a customer and probably many more.
Hi Kristine,
Thank you for your comments. You are right; we only test our strollers with our own Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30. If you want to try out our Uno with a different car seat, we suggest visiting one of our retailers with your car seat and trying it out right there, in-store with the Uno. You can find a Peg Perego retailer near you here. I would recommend calling first to make sure they have the Uno in stock.
Emily
Hi Kevin,
Yes, older-model strollers equipped with the Ganciomatic anchors will generally accommodate the Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seat.
Emily
Anybody knows how to attach a car seat to the Uno Stroller – Pois Grey?
Hi Wellington,
The Uno has our Ganciomatic hooks. Check out this video to see how those work. This video is of our Pliko P3 Compact, but it has the same hook system as our Uno. If you need more assistance, you can find step-by-step instructions and a diagram in your owners’ manual, which can be downloaded here: http://us.pegperego.com/babyproducts-catalog/2011/Uno

Emily
Thank you for the information regarding how to attach a car seat onto the Uno stroller. I know how to do now. It’s a bit tricky without instruction.
Wellington
I’m so glad the video helped Wellington.
Just let us know if there’s ever anything we can help you with.

hi
do you know if i can use primo viaggio 2010 car seat with 2011/2012 model for Uno strollers?
I have new moon but I was told it was 2011 but you said new moon is 2012 fabric addition so does that mean i have 2012 stroller?
does the primo viaggio car seat 2010 need the base or can i use the seat directly to attache it to the car with belt?
thanks
Hi Sonia,
The 2013 Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 infant car seat is compatible with the 2011 and 2012 Uno stroller.
Thank you for your question!
