The Duette SW
I am a parent of 1 year-old twins and a five year-old. While we had always used Peg Perego products, I knew that the choice of a double stroller for the twins would ultimately determine how much and how often we got out of the house. Having a stroller that allowed me to perform all baby duties on-the-go was key because I wanted to be able to easily get out of the house by myself with the babies. I also wanted a stroller that truly treated both riders equally as far as the size and features of the seats. In this review, I am going to try to focus on helpful information about the Duette not found on the Peg Perego website. Hopefully this will be instructive!
The Duette performs more functions than you can dream up. Examples:
- It has a functioning steering wheel, which is not only unique, but makes it really simple to steer and push with just one hand. Even when heavily laden. I cannot stress this enough: it rolls and steers like a dream, even one-handed. I do this while grocery shopping with my twins as I pull the shopping cart behind me. No problem. Seriously. Even at Costco. In fact, I find that my lightweight Maclaren side-by-side requires far more energy to push and maneuver than does the Duette. (Note that the Peg Perego Skate diaper bag connects and hangs perfectly on this stroller, as do most other diaper bags).
